The AF‑Speedlock® is a unique pistol locking system that eliminates barrel tilt during the slide cycle, allowing the barrel to move straight back only a few millimeters. This innovative design offers several advantages over traditional Browning-style tilting barrel systems, most notably improved accuracy, particularly for follow-up shots, as it maintains better barrel alignment.

Additionally, with a bore axis of approximately 0.47in (12mm), the AF‑Speedlock® facilitates enhanced recoil management and minimizes muzzle flip. This results in a smoother recoil impulse, faster cycling, and increased control for the shooter.
