DI Optical’s compact FC1 virtually parallax free prism gun-sight weighs just 170 grams with mount and offers many features in its lightweight package. The rectangular 15mm x 21mm lens with a proprietary multi-layer anti-reflective coating provides an exceptionally well defined red dot. Housed in a rugged case CNC machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the FC1 is unsurpassed in its rugged construction. I sighted in the open sights, which were right on the money, and then moved the dot to the top of the front sight, hoping this short cut would at least get me on paper.
It did not. Not only did the bullet not strike anywhere close to my expected target location, but the dot moved off center after the shot was made. After looking more closely at the sight, the dot then returned to the center of the screen.
Needless to say, this one is going back... (Posted on 2/21/2017)
