Fortis Control 5.56

Fortis Control 5.56

Availability: In stock

You breach, shoot a few rounds and then can't hear feedback from your team because you're temporarily deaf from the concussion and blast noise from your muzzle device. The Fortis Control was designed to push the noise forward for combative situations or even for simple range use, while the top ports keep the muzzle device flat on target. The patent pending quick detach system will be made available for other manufacturer's to use in conjunction with their muzzle devices.

So whether you're knocking down doors or shooting at the range, let's help save your hearing. So click on the Control and go!

**Only mounts with muzzle devices that are compatible. We are freely licensing our attaching design so other MFG's can add it to their muzzle device designs. Currently our muzzle brake and Rainier Arms XTC 2.0 are compatible.

A great blast shieldReview by
Quick attachment, easy to use and takes abuse. A great shield for the price. We run them on several firearms (Posted on 3/9/2017)
A must have for indoor rangeReview by
Product looks great, very simple install, and works as advertised. I use this when shooting at indoor ranges and the blast is significantly reduced. Shooters to the right and left will thank you. (Posted on 7/10/2016)
Bent release leverReview by
Bought this a few months ago, was waiting to get a new barrel/rail setup to achieve my desired look. Finally got the new setup, I put the control into my fortis muzzle 5.56 to ensure it would fit. The control was a little loose but did not come off. I loaded my rifle up and went to the range, I shot 10 rounds and the control came off of the weapon and fell on the ground. I picked it up and noticed that the release lever was bent and would not allow me to put it back on the gun. I immediately took pictures and sent them to fortis. Fortis replied within a few hours(it was a Saturday) they informed me that the repair would be too difficult since they use a pin to hold the lever assembly in place and are not able to remove the pin. So I have to buy a new one. So now it's an expensive paper weight and a reminder of why I'll never order fortis parts. I'm not sure why you would make something that cannot be repaired. Cannot attach Control to XTC 2.0 on Ultramatch RifleReview by
I purchased a Rainier Utramatch Rifle with a 14.5" barrel and the XTC 2.0 pinned/welded in place. One of the selling features of the XTC 2.0 is it's ability to function with the Fortis Control BMD. Unfortunately, the Fortis device will NOT attach to the XTC 2.0 that was pinned/welded to the Ultramatch barrel by Rainier. The problem seems to reside with the XTC 2.0 or its installation by Rainier. I can readily attach the Fortis Control to a second unattached XTC 2.0 that I purchased. This flaw in my expensive Rainier Ultramatch Rifle will result in the hassle of returning the rifle for a refund or a challenging replacement of the welded XTC 2.0 that could damage the Ultramatch barrrel. And return shipping. I am very disappointed. (Posted on 1/9/2016)
