This is range ammo only! Hopefully you'll have better luck. Don't rely on this ammo off the range. I bought this because it came down to around 76 cents per round. I hadn't expected to find multiple stampings at the bottoms of the casings, so basically they are reloading all kinds of brass here. Some even said .223 REM. Most rounds functioned just fine. However, there was no consistency in the depth at which the bullets were seated. Also with the primers, some weren't set deep enough, they protruded beyond the base of the brass. I had rounds literally become stuck in the chamber on average every 5th round because they failed to seat properly. One was so bad that the bolt became stuck I couldn't clear it. I used the bottom of a p-mag to gently nudge the forward assist in order to ensure that the BCG was all the way forward(hammered that f*cker home and cracked the base plate and bashed my ring finger). I squeezed the trigger, the round fired and luckily the spent casing partially extracted resulting in a "stovepipe". I thought the issue might be with my upper but after running 50 rounds of Barnes immediately afterwards, I'm convinced that the brass is the culprit. I'm not even going to save the brass for reloading. Unfortunately, I do not trust this ammo and I will not be purchasing it again. (Posted on 3/13/2016)
