C4V (TIN) provides excellent wear resistance with a hardness of 2600 Vickers. C4V is a PVD coating, however one look at C4V and you will know this is not your average TIN. It has a Coefficent of friction - 0.4 and only 2 microns thick making it a major improvment over milspec. Iron City's enhanced bolt mad of Carpenter 158 is coated to match.
