I really like this trigger, the break and reset is great. I only gave it 4 stars because I am having light primer strikes in my Sig 716. I will be swapping it out for one of my AR-15's which I think it will work fine in. (Posted on 12/6/2016)

After 100rds over this weekend at the indoor range. I had 7 light primer strikes. I don't think there should be any breakin period for a drop in trigger. If so and the light primer strikers improve, I'll give it a better rating. As far as trigger pull and reset, I'd say it's comparable to the CMC drop in trigger for 50 dollars cheaper.

I bought 3 of these from Rainier at the intro price. Machine work, fit and finish was excellent. As others have noted no instructions in the package nor on the website but a quick call to JMT got me going. Installation is the same as Timneys. 2 had really clean/crisp trigger pulls, right at 3.5 lbs. But the third had about 2mm of creep with a bump half way to the break at 4.25 lbs. Call ed JMT again and they told me to send it back. In 7 days I received a new one in the mail. This one was crisp like the other two, also at 3.5 lbs. One of the ARs hosts a CMMG dedicated .22 upper. Functioned 100% with Federal Value Pack, Federal Auto Match, and CCI Minimag. Remington Golden Bullets were a no go but was that way with the milspec trigger. (Posted on 10/29/2016)

So far the unit feels no different than a CMC Single stage drop in trigger for 2/3rds of the price. Can't say I love it yet since I have yet to actually put some range time in with it. (Posted on 10/26/2016)

Really good price for such a cool trigger. Trigger has really crisp action; very little slack and creep. Needs to be polished; I want to run it a while and see how it is after a few hundred rounds. Thanks for the deal. (Posted on 10/26/2016)

Not quite as smooth and distinct as a CMC trigger, but NICE! The price is right and I would probably buy another one... or two! (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Really annoying slop in the pull.Review by Scouts Out

It has a really annoying amount of gritty resistance in the initial take-up that feels more like something wasn't machined right and is catching. The first initial take-up just feels gritty, and it'll actually hold the trigger in place where the travel is stopped before the break. I own a handful of other triggers that cost a little more, but so much smoother, and I'd rather pay the higher price to get proper function. Looks great, cheap price compared to some, but I'll hit up Rainier arms about returning it soon... (Posted on 10/17/2016)
Poor machining quality, unfinished and misleadingReview by Darwin

The price is incredibly cheap for a reason for this drop in trigger set. The hammer, trigger, and sear all have rough and sharp edges. The manufacturer skipped the step to "finish" this process. The edges and corners of the trigger will most definitely cut your finger if you are not careful. On top of that, the hammer is VERY gritty...Not the "smoother and crisper" trigger as described. Spend a little more on a CMC instead... (Posted on 10/15/2016)
Great trigger for the moneyReview by Ross

Ok so i got this trigger in and installed it in my Blackout. It is a good improvement over the worked on Mil-spec I had in there. Consistent 3.5lb pull, very positive reset, minimal over travel. It has a good bit of creep to it though. It is smooth and even creep with no jumps or notches so I'm ok with it. For $90 I'm damn happy. As long as your not expecting a Jewel or AR Gold then you'll be happy with this for sure. It's a far cry better than any of the honed/polished/resprung Mil-spec ones out there. (Posted on 10/11/2016)
Instructions????Review by Damian

Per trigger packing (as of Oct 2016), I went to JMT website and searched for installation instructions. There are several set screws within the packaging and the design seems quite different than other "drop-in" trigger products I have seen. I wanted to ensure I followed any OEM instructions before installing, especially since this is getting dropped into a.308 build, where slam-fires can arise if triggers are not installed properly. Appears to be a high-quality product with a high-value price-point, although JMT missed the mark on providing instructions within packaging or on JMT website. I also think they should have included trigger pins to ensure best tolerances, like ALG does on their combat triggers. (Posted on 10/10/2016)
