The RB5000 KynSHOT Marksman Recoil Buffer AR15 Carbine reduces felt recoil by 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle rise.  To be clear: in this caliber, absolute recoil reduction is small.  However, the improvement in weapon accuracy – specifically second and third shot accuracy – is large as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights.  In our experience, the more serious the shooter, the greater the improvement is felt.

For subsonic ammunition (e.g. 300 AAC Blackout) – especially when running unsuppressed – we recommend the model RB5000L, which is tuned for lower energy applications.

For higher power, harder running AR-15 applications (e.g. the .50 BEOWOLF) we recommend stepping up to the KynSHOT model RB5005.  The RB5005 will fit inside the buffer tube and spring of most AR-15s while removing more energy in operation.
