The Sionics Weapon Systems 16” AR-15 Chrome Lined Barrel is machined from 41V50 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel. It features a lightweight contour with a mid-length gas system and .625” gas seat diameter. The 1/8 twist rate is great for an all around build where you might switch between 55 and 62 grain 5.56 ammo. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for use with any 5.56/.223 muzzle device. The barrel is Manganese Phosphate coated and magnetic particle inspected. The Sionics Lightweight Chrome Lined AR-15 Barrel is great for a general purpose carbine.
