Decent if you want a lightweight upper without costing too muchReview by MN
The cast and machining is decent for the price you are paying for a lightweight-ish upper, just beware of the tight tolerances. First, I had to heat the receiver up quite a bit for me to push the barrel all the way in to seat correctly. Second, I actually have to tap the charging handle into the channel for the first time, and then the channel itself is a bit tight for the charging handle also. Although not to a point that it restricts movement, but only after a rack, my brand new Raptor CH looks like it been through a few wars because the coating got completely scraped off on one of the edge and a few spots here and there, and I did oil everything completely. All in all, the receiver is decent, just be careful that it might be a bit tight here and there, and you need quite a bit of "break in" to completely smooth everything out. (Posted on 10/25/2016)
