Stealth Arms was founded with a simple mission: to meet the needs of American gun owners with quality products and unrivaled customer service. They've accomplished that mission and more. The company is probably best known for the Stealth Arms Platypus, a 1911 frame handgun that takes a Glock mag. An unsurprisingly staunch proponent of firearm ownership, the company began by making specialized targets in a modest workshop. They went on to design 1911 frames, 80 percent 1911 lowers, 80 percent AR lowers, and more.

It begins with the Stealth Arms 80 aluminum frame, CNC machined in-house with premium materials for the perfect fit. Despite its ability to take Glock magazines, the Platypus 1911 is a true 1911. The gun features all the individual components expected of a double stack 1911, including a mainspring house, hammer, trigger bow, etc. If you're familiar with 1911-style pistols, you will be immediately familiar with the 1911 Platypus.
The double-stack Platypus 1911 created quite a stir when it debuted and never fails to draw a crowd at firearm related events like SHOT Show, the NRA convention, and TRIGGRcon. That's hardly a surprise. No matter how well done the 80 frame, few people expected anyone to pull off an effective pistol like this.
