The MARS Magazine Advanced Release System is a Glock ambi mag release for Gen 4 & 5 handguns. Unlike a standard mag release, which is typically actuated by the user's thumb and often requires the shooter to break their grip, the MARS allows the shooter to use their index or trigger finger to change magazines. This, in turn, allows them to retain their grip - and to make mag changes more quickly. As a true Ambi release, the MARS is an effective upgrade for both right- and left-handed shooters and equally well by shooters who, for whatever reason, have transitioned to their support hand.

The MARS ambi extended mag release was designed by Battleline Industries for Rainier Arms, and it's one of the most innovative and useful Glock accessories available. It is a drop-in release that is compatible with all GEN 4 Glock pistols in calibers 9mm, 40 S&W, and .357 SIG.
The MARS is one of the best-designed, quality-manufactured Glock parts available. It's made of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, with a Type III Class 2 MIL-SPEC hard coat anodizing finish, polyoxymethylene (Delrin), and stainless steel hardware for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. The MARS control surfaces are slightly extended and feature an aggressive texture for a faster reload and positive control.

The MARS is a COMPLETELY ambidextrous mag release button, giving both left and right-hand shooters, as well as competitors, a tactical advantage with the ability to release the magazine using the index finger (trigger finger) or, for matter, the middle finger from both the right side and left side. The MARS is a force multiplier in a combative situation, enabling the left and right-hand shooter better options to manipulate magazine changes with speed and efficiency without disturbing the proper firing grip and allowing for more accurate follow-up shots. This is no pointless or aesthetic-only handgun accessory.
