The patented Hybrid Short-stroke operation of the Perun relocates the piston chamber from over the barrel to the top of the barrel nut in the rifle's body. This eliminates additional torque and weight to the front of the gun, which improves accuracy, balance, and recoil management. The Perun utilizes minimal proprietary parts, allowing unlimited customization and modification of the firearm with standard AR parts for the mission.

The Perun X16-115-Pistol comes equipped with the proven heavy-duty 4150 Melonited carbon steel with a 1:7 twist in carbine-length gas. The muzzle is tipped with a 360-degree recoil reducer in black. Superlative Arms provides the Bleed-off adjustable gas block to optimize the Perun to your favorite ammunition and shooting preference.

With the lower front-end weight, no gas blowback, and elevated sight rails, this Rifle caliber Pistol embodies the 'Scoot N Shoot' in confined spaces. This 11.5" Pistol, with its muzzle velocity, offers the perfect balance between ballistics and maneuverability.

The feather-weight polymer lower is equipped with an NP3 coated two-stage enhanced combat trigger. A Perun ACR style folding and adjustable brace, an M1913 Picatinny rail stock adapter, and a 30-round smoked polymer magazine are included.
